two shops, one post

*1 Rust Jewellery is owned by my 'junk-ing/thrifting' idol, Artemis and her husband, Nao. I never fancied jewelries until these rings. Here are a few of my favorites. If only we had known them when we were looking for wedding rings. I exhaled a lot of ooh's and aah's while browsing through their gallery. So much love in tiny pieces of metal.

*2 It's no secret: I love cameras. So there's really nothing more to explain why I love this set from Dot & Bo. Their "Through the Lens" collection is just... heaven. Awarding 'the best item' to that awesome Vintage Linhof Standard Press Camera.

for a friend's wedding next year

A friend of mine is getting hitched next year. And I'm excited I'm part of the hard-core prepping [if you know what I mean]. So, one thing that we had already talked about was the design for their invitations. The pictures above will serve as inspiration. And yes, it is a restaurant menu on a cutting board. These are Vittobeneto's btw, an Italian restaurant based in Indonesia, which I read from Behance.

ms. junkaholique a.k.a one a-ma-zing lady

Artemis, her lifestyle, their way of living, and her belief in thrifting and anything vintage; how can I even begin. I liked their collections, and the fact that [probably] 90% of their house was from vintage shops. I am so much in awe. Honestly, she probably had mastered the art that is junk hoarding. And I am one hellafa-jealous girl right now.

I myself am a hoarder when in thrift shops and flea markets. [Certain] Someone [that is my husband] can say obsessed. It is in my plan to buy all the beautifully crafted [I am hoping for some real gem, like hand-painted] plateware. I just have to wait until we move in to our own house [because my husband won't allow me to buy anymore. read: impulse buying]. Though if we're being honest, I had already bought four pieces from a flea market of sorts. Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation always has this junkyard-sale-ish for charity. I had seen a lady carrying an old typewriter; I might have given her the 'how-could-you-thats-mine' kind of stare. Anyway, Tzu Chi was where I chanced upon my little treasures. Which are mostly, porcelain. [I should post them here. Prolly some other time.] But! If you're from the Philippines, you should definitely have a look. Back to Ms. Junkaholique.

I know this is late; I just got on the Anthropologie wagon. I was hesitant at first, due to: A) I know what they have are too expensive; and B) I was scared to get upset when I find something I can't buy. BUT!
