I'm currently reading Neil Gaiman's Stardust. I'm a sucker for anything magical; be it witches, or elves, or a floating cat of smoke, or what-not. For those who I had shared years, my love for magic is too obvious it's no surprise how much I am enjoying this book, which you should know I picked because of its title. I had no clue it was that movie, which I also fairly enjoyed, by the way; a lady star -- isn't it obviously something adorable?
I would say this book's too short for "readers"; a day should be enough to finish all 90 pages of magic. I know that. I also know today's my fourth day of reading. I'm not totally bothered though; being me when liking a certain book, I read very slowly a manner. I would read, how normally it should be; but every other sentence, a paragraph, be it a whole page, I would re-read; almost like chewing slowly while smiling silly at the same time.
I should also mention; this book made my yesterday. If it weren't for Stardust, I would have died. Only mentally, of course. Work was too much to swallow; everyone's being a pain, myself included. And as if I am known to be someone who 'endures', gracefully I might add, a migraine in its extreme decided to hop in. Long story short
Thank you Neil. I promise to stay loyal, and read, if not all, then at least
P.S. Now the fifth day of journey, 52 out of 90 leaves. I had already said I like this book, right? I am smiling silly; ha! A tree, a talking tree. How cute.
