DIY Photo Wall Clock + DIY Photo Transfers on Wood

I cannot wait to move in to our new house! It ain't big, but what matters is that, it's ALL OURS BABY!

I should tell you about our plans on (especially Christmas) decorations. These are mostly just ideas, but I want to believe I have a concrete plan to achieve them. My husband and I decided to have a rustic/woodland/nautical feel around the house. Because A) I find it relaxing; and B) I am obsessed with anything rustic, or woodland. We had agreed on this... Or not! He kind of said yes because he wanted to he always wants to make me happy. Anyway, these and more in the next posts. But for now, I will share to you TWO DIYs that I'm sure we WILL be doing for the house.

first birthday cake inspiration

This is probably to uhm establish the finality of my our decision on the theme, and to avoid swooshing thoughts, that might result to changing the plan. We have seven months more, but I've been hanging out on Pinterest quite a lot LOT on a daily basis, just trying to get brilliant ideas. Again, we are having a woodland themed birthday party for Elle. So my hits were all about that. After a little less than 2 weeks, I've decided on cakes. Partially.

We will have (oh! Just) THREE cakes to celebrate her and that day: A.) Naked Cake, with berries as toppers, or wood, or something; B.) Simple White Frosted Cake, with [I don't know how to describe that other than a] swishing frosting thing; and C.) Hand Painted Cake, with its painting close to the invitation digital art. Question though is.. wouldn't these be uhmm too "adult"-ish for a baby girl? Anyway...
