Girl Crush: Baifern Pimchanok

I don't usually go fangirling over someone. I'm not even sure I used the term correctly. Buuut...

Since my discovery, I can't stop obsessing over a girl with a name I try not to think, speak, or mention in any way. Well except for the post tile. It may be weird that I am distancing myself over these unnecessary feelings. But then again, I did say they're UNNECESSARY; so prolly not that weird.

I have nothing against people who go crazy about their celebrities; but it's a personal (my) choice not to. It is personal. VERY. But to explain in a word. INSECURE. So go guess the whole story (I lose self-confidence and those kind of loser stuff. I bully myself too much.). But I think of it in a medical sort of way; like isn't it unhealthy to go beyond liking someone? It is for me. I sorta think. One, I lose myself. Two, it becomes unstoppable, which leads me to three, I lose myself. AGAIN.

That is probably also the reason why I chose not to go on board* with the K-Pop generation?wave? or something. Those girls are too pretty; very VERY pretty and hot (ok that made me sound a creep). Anyway. It's a long (and again PERSONAL!) story but to make it short, I weighed a normal 90lbs before, and well as of date, two years and two babies later, I'm 170 probably.

Anyway. Blaaaarggggh... /wrist

So... BAIFERN PIMCHANOK. YEAH! Go google her photos. I VERY strongly recommend you search for her photos; she's one hellafa girl! Ok ok. Here's proof. Just a photo. Or two.

* Ok. I do go out with a made up face to look Jap or Korean. I made some research! And that's a totally different related situation.

Home Decor: DIY Goodness

Some DIY goodness I found on pinterest and other cool sites.

PicPanda.comPicPanda.com
L: I think I CAN do this! Not for the shower curtain though. R: This is pretty doable, too! I think. Chalkboards and not chalk paint, though (living in the Phils, and I'm not sure we have that). I'll even let the kids doodle!

PicPanda.comPicPanda.com
L: Not that in love with this birdcage, but this R: scrabble magnets on a frame! Definitely.

PicPanda.comPicPanda.com
L: For when we start teaching the kids to do chores and whatnots. R: I hope we can do this for our door. The sub/village we're in has lots of (boo!) restrictions.

PicPanda.comPicPanda.com
L: I should find a good wooden ladder. Most ladders here look cheap. Also, I'm worried it will fall over the kids. Should fix that. R: Not for our bedroom, but for the other room, a.k.a temporary room for helpers. It will be transformed to a playroom when we get to extend the house (thus another room for helpers downstairs).

... AND just because these are my favorites. Extra special on mentioning these goodies.

1) Being a photography enthusiast, it is ONLY natural to have a house FULL of photographs. Yes?
PicPanda.com

2) The house is not big enough to host a separate playroom for the kids. So instead, I'll have this either in our bedroom or in the living room. Great as a reading nook, too!
PicPanda.com

3) This became my favorite because 1: POETRY. and 2: EASY/verymuchDOABLE. I mean just white pillows, that ruler thingy, and a marker and VOILA! HAPPINESS in a cushion. Or obsession.
PicPanda.com

4) MY FAVORITE out of all favorites! It's too obvious to explain. Dang POETRY of course! Yum. BUUUUT someone (MYSELF!!) should not get too excited; to accomplish this, the GODDESS person hammered down (YES one by one painfully hammering) all letters to the table. She said it was SO worth it in the end. I believe her, really. It's just that... I'm distracted from fully believing, because of thinking probably too hard about HOW I can possibly survive that sacrifice task. I know me. I hazz very VERY tiny patience.

Home Decor: Bedroom

Here are photos from around the net. I seem to have unconsciously built this obsession with rooms in this palette: white, neutrals, and aqua or mint. Or blush, since H (as in husband) has this weird idea that pink girly-fies the room, something he would NEVER want. Well, so much for my wants! Anyway...

To explain it in a gist, architects, engineers, or whoever, are now building our house, and will be finished in 3 or so months. We, H and I, have tight pockets, so budget budget budget... and since I know it pays off to know stuff before doing them, I spent a good 3 weeks searching the net (mostly google and pinterest) for interiors and DIY home decors.
Thus, this post.

For our bedroom, it will save us cash to stay with the white painting, which is the default paint color they (the architects, engineers, whoever) will use. I am still contemplating on whether I like bed frames or not. I think I'm in love with that sort of mini stage as a bed frame and just put on the mattress and sheets and pillows and voila! Relaxing. I think. H thinks otherwise. Which makes our first dilemma. I mean second, given the first one is 'to pink or not to pink'.

Currently, we have a mattress bed couch, or sofa bed, which we can reuse. But since it's in an UGLY color of blue and green, we should be looking for good-looking sheets. We're also thinking of throwing the bed couch to the other bedroom, which will be for our helpers, and buy a new one. But again, tight pockets, so we may just have to scratch that idea. What I'm sure with, is that I will scout for old chest drawers, like really old, almost broken type of chest drawers. Which will probably cost $4 to $5, converted to our money is more or less Php200. I'm reading a lot on re-fab furniture to help with the secondhand stuff. I'll also scout for vintage trunk/chest for the foot of the bed. Then, a lamp. I think there will be free cabinets from them*, but I want a shoe organizer either under the bed or well I don't know yet. I will also include a reading nook for the kids in the corner of the room, just a tiny triangular space with sheets and some other softness I can find. For free, if I may add.

SO THAT'S IT. For other DIY decors or anything about styling, I ABSOLUTELY recommend visiting The House of Smiths, which is owned by probably the most perfect couple in the world.

* THEM refers to them architects, engineers or whoever people I keep mentioning. Who were provided by Camella Homes, which is the real estate company we got the house from.

Photo Shoot: Siblings

THAT LAST PHOTO being blurred. /wrist Sorry I'm no good photographer.

* Yeah I forgot his name. This being long ago.

Photo Shoot: Gabe's Easter

This may be biased, but I think I got the CUTEST boy. Gabe, Xandre Gabriel in full, just turned two. Which is in brief saying that this again is a long ago post. Btw this is my baby. Like MINE mine. Out of me. Literally. So again no cash out of this client.

This was a year ago, a month before his first birthday. His first Easter Sunday. He wasn't IN the mood for a shoot that day. Too bad or these would've come with lots of smiling. Also, people kept on telling me I shouldn't have bought him bunny ears; it was too 'girly' for their liking. Well, I thought otherwise! I thought it was a cute touch to an already cute lil baby boy. Anyway.

Photo Shoot: Liz Uy

A.k.a the FIRST photo shoot I had with someone not a friend or family. Even before this first photo shoot post with Ellen & Lloyd.

I met Liz and her husband, who looked like someone from my high school days, last year, or I don't know when. These posts are REAAAALLY so long ago I know.
