Looking for a venue was tough. Luckily, we came across J.Cuppacakes Cupcakery. They passed all my criteria, and more. It was near the church. The soft lighting was great. No problem with parking. The food was good. And they're not strict when it comes to store policies. They let me used their decorations, like jars, and picture frames. Even the 'wishing' tree and birdcages. Plus, the store itself is decorated, so you don't need to spend much. Our first plan was to rent wooden chairs. Voila! They have wooden chairs! And they are very affordable -- just PhP4,500 to rent out the place, although we got it for free [we're their first client. Yes, we're that lucky.]
How did we find out about them? They have a stall in SM Megamall. It's getting quite a buzz, actually. If you're not familiar, you can Google and see all their customers' posts with one of these hastags: #delicious #best #cupcakes. Let's just say, we became one of their fans. My husband and I personally love [SO SO MUCH] their cheesecake cupcakes. BEST EVER! What also caught my attention was their decorations. I fell in love with the look and feel of the stall. And when I found out they have a branch in Eastwood, i.e. an actual store, we decided to check them out. OMG guys! You should pay them a visit! It was so pretty. Just really REALLY really pretty. Here's proof. You can expect the same ambiance in their Makati branch.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who's planning a small event.
